I’m only 18 and just graduated from school here in Wisconsin.
I really love kids and I work at a daycare.
So I know what it takes to take care of children.
So how long would it take to become a Kindergarten Teacher,
and what would it take?
Or if you would know where I could find out some information on this.
Thank You!!!

It sounds like your you have not picked a college or have not started yet; so my advice is to pick a college, and major in Early Childhood Education with or without a minor (your choice). If you truly enjoy working with kids I say go for your certification in education and you can be teaching your own classroom in 4 years, you’ll be 21 or 22 with a career path, that’s great. Do not waste time fumbling through unfulfilling jobs if teaching is your passion. It can become a very advancing career too. Also, if your currently working with children keep that job, relationship with supervisors, and contacts in good standing. It can play a big part in your student teaching (a requirment during course taking), references, and/or summer employment when school is out for the summer (if you choose to work during your break). Good Luck !
